SMA 80 WZ is the first redirective device not fixed on the ground used to protect vehicles from frontal and lateral impacts against moveable barriers within construction zones.
Redirective
No other system on the market can redirect errant vehicles while SMA 80 WZ has succesfully passed the lateral crash test TC 3.2.80 and TC 4.2.80 according to EN1317-3 which demonstrate the high performance in sustaining frontal and side impacts.
Short, Narrow and Light
SMA 80 WZ width is specifically designed to completely cover the shape of narrow obstacles like New Jersey, while other crash cushions on the market are too wide for this scope and can represent an obstacle instead of a protectuion!
The assembled system is so light that can be lifted up with a small crane or a forklift without problems.
